Coach Roehl grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and went to Libertyville High School where she was a state Cross-Country champion and a 3200m state champion in Track. After high school, she attended the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) as a scholarship athlete in Cross-Country and Track. In 2006, she became the head girl’s cross-country/ distance coach for track at Arrowhead High School.
During her time coaching, the team won a state cross-country championship and broke many records in track.
Coach Roehl has been the assistant distance coach the past few springs for the Boys and Girls Track teams and joined the XC program in 2016. Her husband and her two sons, Mitch and Brad, are looking forward to coming to cheer on (and run with) the XC program.
