Coach Scherbarth teaches Social Studies (AP US History, US History, Criminal Justice and Technology and Society) at MHS and has been involved with Mukwonago Cross Country and athletics for much of life--first as an athlete and now as a coach.
Prior to serving as Head Cross Country coach, Mr Scherbarth was the Head Coach of the Parkview Cross Country team (while assisting at the high school). In addition to coaching cross country, Mr Scherbarth is an Assistant Coach with the Mens Track Team in the spring. Mr Scherbarth is certified by the USATF (USA Track and Field association) as a Level 2 Coach in both endurance events and youth coaching.
When he is not coaching or preparing to teach, Mr Scherbarth is an avid runner and occasional triathlete--competing in distances from a mile all the way up to ultra-marathons.

"My hope for Mukwonago Cross Country is to create a program that builds positive memories for its athletes while allowing them to compete on the highest stage, representing their community and school with pride"
